Instagram has grown to own 90 million Monthly Active Users, with over 40 million photos per day. Users love Facebook’s free photo sharing tool (and who doesn’t want to see all of those cute baby pictures and weird dog tricks?) How can you take this seemingly simple to use app and turn it into a key component of your business’s marketing plan? It may be easier than you think.

Display: The beveled flabby app icons, once a rage but of late lost their sheen, have been put through a diet plan. They are now flat, but brighter and give a sense of appearing above the screen. The “dark circles ” enveloping the icons have vanished, replaced with a refreshing new color palette and complimenting fonts to justify the different tag in iOS7.

5) PhotoFunia – PhotoFunia is a very funny photo manipulation app to impress your friends with your imagination. PhotoFunia has many stock scenes and you can add your own face into that stock scenes. For example, you can add your own face in place of MonaLisa smile, a bodybuilders body, become a Superman by putting your face on Superman’s costume or become a cover page model of popular magazines. This app has a 4.5 rating with 61,529 user rating.

instagram is a free photo sharing social media site launched on October 6, 2010. It allows users to download photos, process them through a digital filter, and share them with other users they are connected to. följare has been wildly successful from the start. By December 2010 they already had over 1 million users. By April 2012, 30 million users were downloading over 150 million photos on Instagram. Also in April, Instagram became available to android users. Seeing a threat to its social media dominance, Facebook acted fast to neutralize its latest competitor. Again in April, Facebook bought Instagram for $1 billion.

Mistake 3. Broadcasting too much. Some people think that just because they are sharing a lot of content, they are doing a good job with social media and they should have a high Klout score. Klout places much more value on interaction and engagement.

Jason Jacobs who is behind RunKeeper is a good example of this. He was sweating it out in a marathon back in 2007 when he thought that people needed something simpler than the Nike+. To achieve his goals of providing an open platform for health metrics, he recruited other people to join him and started a new company.

Being ranked into the “Most Popular” list on Instagram is certainly an accomplishment worth bragging, but to get there you will have to make quite an effort, and it will take time.
